When you order this coffee it will be roasted fresh for you to provide you with the freshest and best quality product possible. Grown in the Caranavi region of Bolivia at an altitude of 1400 to 1600 meters
Varietals include Tipica, Caturra, Catuai. The fully washed process was used. It is certified organic by Ceres, GmbH & Baystate organic certifiers, Fair trade by FT USA, Invalsa FT ID 20629.
It received a cupping score 80-82 points. The aroma and flavor is herbal, chocolate with a mild citric aciity and a clean sweet taste with a short aftertaste. It is an excellent choice for a breakfast blend.
For maximum freshness, coffee beans are packaged shortly after roasting in resealable foil-lined bags that have a one-way valve that allows gasses to escape and keeps oxygen from entering.
A portion of all sales from this coffee is donated to benefit the student scholarship fund of the Rio Grande Bible College, an accredited Bible College on the Texas/Mexico border. All classes are in Spanish and about 90% of the student body comes from Latin American countries. www.riogrande.edu
